£19.99/year with a 14-day free trial, or £2.99/month without one

Skeme's week view on iPad, showing a teacher's timetable with lessons, breaks and lunch laid out across Monday to Friday.

What it does

Scheduling that does itself

Apply a single lesson, a whole topic, or your entire teaching order. Skeme places every lesson on the right period for that class, in the right sequence.

Bump when plans change

Assembly, snow day, fire drill. Bump a lesson forward and everything behind it shuffles along. Lock the tests and revision lessons so they stay exactly where they are.

Preparation that arrives in time

Attach tasks to lessons in your curriculum. Photocopying three days before. Equipment ordered by Monday. It appears when you need to do it, not when it is already too late.

Your school calendar, built in

Mark training days and non-teaching days and your lessons move around them. Two-week timetables alternate on their own, and you can mark break weeks in setup.

See it four ways

Day view for what you are teaching now. Week view on iPad. Class group view for the whole sequence. Timetable view to find when you next see a class.

Share and collaborate

Import and export calendar dates and topics. One person in the department builds it, everyone else imports it, and nobody types the same curriculum twice.

A class's lesson sequence in Skeme with a menu open over it, offering Change lesson, Move lessons forward, Bring lessons backward, Swap lesson and Clear lessons from here.
Lost a period to an assembly, school photos or a fire drill? Bump that lesson forward and the whole sequence moves too.

Up and running in an evening

  1. Skeme's quick setup on iPhone, step 2 of 5: a day being built from Tutor Time, five numbered periods, a break and lunch, each row draggable.

    Quick Setup

Choose a one or two-week timetable, set your periods, breaks and lunches, then your term dates. Two-week timetables alternate automatically.

  2. Skeme's day view on iPhone, showing Wednesday's periods with a class code and lesson title against each one, plus the day's events and tasks.

    Add your timetable

Enter your classes once. Skeme remembers them — no typing the same group name twice.

  3. A topic in Skeme on iPhone, listing its lessons in teaching order from Life processes through to Revision.

    Apply your curriculum

Build topics and lessons per course, then apply them to a class. Your term fills itself in.

About the price of a planner book

A paper planner costs about the same and cannot reschedule itself when you lose a week to exams. Skeme syncs across your iPhone and iPad through your own iCloud account, so your planning is wherever you are.

£19.99 a year or £2.99 a month in the UK. Prices vary by country. The yearly plan starts with a 14-day free trial; the monthly plan does not include one.
